Next week, Oppo will officially unveil the K14x smartphone in India and the company’s product roadmap also includes two higher end versions known as the K14 Turbo and the K14 Turbo Pro which are being tailored for the Chinese market. In addition to these Oppo plans to release a standard version of the device simply called the Oppo K14.
This information has come to light following the device’s certification by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) confirming its compliance with industry standards. According to the certification records, this particular model is listed under the number CPH2869. In comparison, the Oppo K14x which has also been certified by the same organization has a distinct model number CPH2871.
Details about the K14 are still very limited and no official specifications have been confirmed by the company. However the model number strongly indicates that this device is headed for markets outside of China hinting at a possible international launch in the near future. While exact release dates, pricing and key features remain unknown interest is already building around this model. As soon as additional information is released whether through official announcements or credible leaks, we will make sure to provide a full update so that readers can get the complete picture of what to expect from the K14.
