Honor Magic 6 New Qilian Snow Color Announced

On January 4th, Zhao Ming, the CEO of Honor, revealed a new white color variant for the Honor Magic 6, named “Qilian Snow.” This new color is inspired by the Qilian Mountains, located at the border of Qinghai Province and Gansu Province in China. The Qilian Mountains, one of the major mountain ranges in China, are known for their peaks that rise over 4000 meters and are covered with snow throughout the year.

The Honor Magic 6’s back cover in Qilian Snow color captures the essence of these majestic, snow-capped mountains. The phone’s snow-white color, combined with subtle, special textures, evokes the image of the towering Qilian Mountains and their pristine snow.

This announcement adds to the previously revealed color variants of the Honor Magic 6 series, all of which draw inspiration from the beautiful landscapes of China. The “Sea Lake Green” color reflects the grand natural landscapes, bringing the vitality of nature to the phone’s back cover. The “Flowing Cloud Purple” is inspired by the dawn scenery at Qinghai Lake, where light purple hues of the early morning sun reflect off the lake’s ripples.

Each of these three color variants has its unique way of representing the beauty of Chinese landscapes, offering high recognition value. The Honor Magic 6 Pro’s front design has also been revealed by Zhao Ming and various bloggers, featuring an ultra-narrow, four-curved screen with a centrally placed dual front camera, creating a design similar to a “Dynamic Island.”

Notably, Honor had developed the “Dynamic Capsule” interaction as early as 2019 with the Honor V20. It is expected that the Magic 6 series will feature even more rich and practical functions based on this concept.

Additionally, the Honor Magic 6 series is equipped with satellite communication technology, enabling direct connection to high-orbit satellites over 36,000 kilometers away. This feature allows for calling and texting in areas without signal coverage.

In summary, the Honor Magic 6 series, with its new Qilian Snow color variant and advanced features, represents a fusion of aesthetic inspiration from natural landscapes and cutting-edge technology. This series continues to showcase Honor’s commitment to integrating cultural elements into modern smartphone design.
