Honor’s CEO Zhao Ming Teases New Purple Color of Honor Magic 6

On January 3rd, Honor CEO Zhao Ming unveiled a new color variant for the Honor Magic6 – “Flowing Cloud Purple.” Zhao Ming shared that the CMF (Color, Material, Finish) design of the Honor Magic6 series is inspired by the majestic landscapes of China. Specifically, the Flowing Cloud Purple color draws inspiration from the dawn scenery at Qinghai Lake, where the light purple hues of the early morning sun reflect off the lake’s ripples, creating a stunning interplay of water and clouds.

The phone’s design is further enhanced with gold accents, reminiscent of the morning sun shining on the lake’s surface. The back cover, crafted from a unique suede material, replicates the layered ripples of the lake, offering a rich sense of depth and a distinctive texture.

In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the Honor Magic6’s rear camera module design incorporates elements of ancient Chinese charm. The external contour of the module adopts a classic “pillow” shape – a square with rounded corners, which is a form with a long history.
