iPhone 16 Pro series metal shell battery  support 40W fast charging

 blogger “Mai Zijuni” posted a latest post showing off the original battery of the iPhone 16 Pro series that he got in advance.

Judging from what he showed, the current iPhone 16 Pro series is confirmed to be wrapped in a stainless steel shell, and the battery size and capacity have also been improved compared to the previous generation.

The iPhone 16 Pro reaches 3597mAh, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max reaches 4769mAh.

Compared with the previous generation, the iPhone 15 Pro is 3274mAh and the iPhone 15 Pro Max is 4422mAh.

The use of this new type of battery can make assembly and maintenance more convenient, and can also assist in heat dissipation.

Although the iPhone 15 Pro released last year brought huge performance improvements through the A17 Pro, its heat generation also reached an unprecedented level. Insisting on not using a VC heat spreader has resulted in a poor experience.

At present, although the performance of A18 Pro has been further improved, the heat generation has not been significantly improved, and Apple has to start preparing an auxiliary cooling system.
