OPPO released the K12 Plus online today. It is equipped with OPPO’s largest battery ever, so its battery life is naturally amazing.
According to official statements, the K12 Plus is equipped with OPPO’s largest 6400mAh battery ever. It is based on a high-voltage lithium cobalt oxide single-cell structure, and its energy density is 14% higher than the previous generation, allowing it to have a larger capacity while still maintaining a thin and light body (8.73mm, weight 192g).
Officials say that the daily battery life of K12 Plus can reach 2.2 days DOU. When fully charged, it can provide more than 44 hours of continuous calls, 19 hours of mobile navigation, or 18 hours of continuous short video watching. Basically, you don’t have to carry a power bank with you (1% of the power can support more than 30 minutes of continuous calls).
While the battery capacity has been increased, the K12 Plus also supports the long-life version of 80W Super Flash Charging technology, which can charge the battery from 1% to 50% in 20 minutes and to 100% in 53 minutes (it can still charge normally in an extremely cold environment of minus 20℃). If the user charges it once a day, the battery can be as good as new for four years.
OPPO’s new phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED screen (supports 120Hz refresh rate and eye protection), a third-generation Snapdragon 7 processor (the same core architecture as the second-generation Snapdragon 8) and 12GB of memory (capable of keeping 25 background applications active for 72 hours).
Drop resistance is also a feature of the K12 Plus. The body adopts a new and enhanced super-drop-resistant diamond structure design (magnesium-aluminum metal frame). The six sides and four corners have drop protection, and the four corners are raised and reinforced to achieve ten-sided drop resistance without dead ends. It has also obtained the Swiss SGS five-star whole-machine drop resistance certification.
In terms of photography, the K12 Plus is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main camera, supports OIS optical image stabilization, and has a 112° ultra-wide-angle lens. It is matched with OPPO’s three major algorithms: ultra-light and shadow image engine, ultra-clear image quality engine, and natural portrait blur engine, which can meet the user’s photography needs very well.
Finally, the price. K12 Plus has three versions: 8+256GB version priced at 1,799 yuan, 12+256GB version priced at 1,999 yuan, 12+512GB version priced at 2,499 yuan. It will go on sale at 10:00 am on October 15.
