OPPO’s most aggressively performing mid-range phone is here.

According to digital blogger Digital Chat Station, the OPPO K14 series smartphones are tentatively scheduled to be officially unveiled around April.

As OPPO’s only mid-range performance model, this series has been upgraded in terms of core configuration. The top-of-the-line version will be equipped with the Dimensity 9500s processor, and all models will be equipped with cooling fans to further improve performance.

It is reported that the OPPO K14 series will offer two different screen sizes, 6.59 inches and 6.78 inches, to suit the different grip and visual needs of users.

Based on the currently leaked information about the engineering prototypes, the series will be available in three storage configurations: 12+256GB, 12+512GB, and 16+512GB. In terms of color options, it will cover four colors: white, gray, pink, and forged carbon, with a style that balances simplicity and individuality.

In response to netizens’ concerns about the 1TB large-capacity version, the blogger stated that due to the high material cost of 1TB, there are currently no plans to launch this specification. Previously, Redmi’s addition of a 1TB version was also pushed forward under cost pressure.

Referring to the currently available OPPO K13 Turbo series, the standard version was released last July with a starting price of 1799 yuan and is equipped with a Dimensity 8450 processor; the Pro version starts at 1999 yuan and is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, and was OPPO’s first product to feature an active cooling fan in a mid-range model. This upgrade to the K14 series is expected to further enhance OPPO’s competitiveness in the mid-range performance market.

Editor’s Review:

The upgrades to the OPPO K14 series precisely cater to the needs of mid-range performance users. Powered by the Dimensity 9500s processor and featuring comprehensive heat dissipation across the entire series, along with a wide range of color options and storage choices, it is expected to become a popular model in the mid-range market in April and is worth the anticipation of performance enthusiasts.
