the last beta version of Android 15 (Android 15 Beta 4) has been officially launched, and eligible devices will receive this update as soon as possible.
These devices include Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Fold, Pixel tablet, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8a, etc.
It is worth noting that in Android 15 Beta 4, developers discovered that the system supports satellite communications and provides Pixel users with 2 years of free satellite communication services.
In an emergency, users can send their name, email, phone number, location and emergency contact information via satellite to facilitate rescue.
This means that the upcoming Pixel 9 series will support satellite communication functions, and the system will be first installed in the Pixel 9 series.
Currently, satellite communications are becoming a new track for mobile phone manufacturers to compete. Following Apple and Huawei, vivo, OPPO, Honor, Xiaomi and others have joined this camp. This time, Google Pixel 9 series will also launch satellite communication services, and the new product will be launched in August.
