The world’s first Dimensity 9500 series active cooling phone is coming! OPPO K14 series teaser.

According to Fast Technology on February 5th, following last year’s OPPO K13 Turbo’s pioneering adoption of active cooling fans and full-level waterproofing in its price range, the next iteration of the K series is about to enter the public eye.

Today, OPPO K series product manager, Sai Sai, began teasing the K14 series on social media. According to her description, the new generation of models will be equipped with a second-generation active cooling fan, resulting in a significant breakthrough in not only the exterior design but also a comprehensive leap in the overall user experience.

Based on current leaks, the OPPO K14 series is tentatively scheduled for release around April this year. Active cooling fans will be standard across the entire series, with the top-of-the-line version attracting particular attention as it will be equipped with the powerful Dimensity 9500s flagship chip. This also means that the K14 series will be the industry’s first Dimensity 9500 series model to support active cooling.

Compared to traditional passive cooling, active cooling demonstrates a more significant advantage when handling high-load tasks. In traditional passive cooling systems, the heat generated by the SoC needs to be conducted through mediums such as thermal paste and copper foil to the vapor chamber (VC) and then diffused to the surface of the device. This process is relatively slow and cannot quickly cope with sudden bursts of high heat.

Active cooling solutions use a small, high-speed fan to directly expel the heat generated by the processor from the chassis, completing the circulation and exchange of hot and cold air. This method greatly shortens the heat dissipation path, effectively ensuring that the processor maintains stable performance even under high-intensity operation.

In terms of body size, the OPPO K14 series offers two size options: 6.59 inches and 6.78 inches. For storage, the new phone offers various configurations ranging from 12GB+256GB to 16GB+512GB.

The color options are more diverse, covering simple white, calm gray, soft pink, and even a forged carbon version with a hardcore aesthetic. The overall weight is kept at around 201 grams, and despite the complex internal cooling module, it still maintains a good grip.
