1TB REDMI Turbo 5 Max only 3399 yuan. Lu Weibing: This is unprecedented in the industry.

Fast Technology reported that Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group, announced that the REDMI Turbo 5 Max 16GB+1TB version is officially on sale, priced at 3399 yuan.

Lu Weibing announced that the highly anticipated 1TB version of the Turbo 5 Max is here, with an initial sale price of 3399 yuan—a rare and attractive price for a 1TB device. Shipping will begin next week. He thanked everyone for their support.

He also stated that despite the rising price of memory, the Turbo 5 series still offers a 1 billion yuan memory subsidy. REDMI is committed to creating a more cost-effective, fully-equipped flagship, continuously leading the breakthrough in mid-range performance and experience transformation. This is our original aspiration and our commitment.

As is well known, since the second half of 2025, the prices of memory and flash memory chips have entered a period of rapid increase.

Recent reports indicate that Samsung Electronics will raise the supply price of NAND flash memory by more than 100% in the first quarter of 2026. This price adjustment not only refreshes market perceptions but also directly reveals the current severe supply and demand imbalance in the semiconductor industry.

TrendForce analysis indicates that, supported by long-term demand for AI servers, high-performance computing, and enterprise-grade storage, the upward trend in DRAM and NAND Flash contract prices is expected to continue until 2027.

Faced with this almost out-of-control cost pressure, Xiaomi Group chose to go against the trend and allocated 1 billion yuan for memory subsidies.

During this promotional period, the REDMI Turbo 5 Max 12GB+512GB version is priced at only 2499 yuan, and the 16GB+512GB version is only 2799 yuan.

In terms of performance, this phone is equally impressive, being the world’s first to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. This chip uses the most advanced 3nm process and a second-generation all-big-core architecture design, achieving an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 3.61 million.
