Honor Magic 6
Honor has officially launched the Honor Magic 6 Pro internationally, with a price tag of 1299 euros (approximately 10,114 RMB), as announced on February 25th by Fast Technology. The design of the Honor Magic 6 Pro draws inspiration from Chinese culture and the country’s magnificent landscapes, featuring the familial “Eye of Muse” and incorporating a camera module design reminiscent of ancient Chinese jade cong, along with pillow-shaped elements.
The device sports a 6.8-inch floating streamline quad-curved screen with a resolution of 2800×1280, a PPI of 453, and supports LTPO technology for dynamic adjustment from 1 to 120Hz, along with 4320Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming for eye protection.
The Honor Magic 6 Pro is equipped with Honor’s Juran glass, based on the second generation of nano microcrystal glass technology, which increases crystal density by 50% and storage stress by 20%, offering ten times the drop resistance in harsh environments such as marble, asphalt, and gravel surfaces.
Performance-wise, the device is powered by the third-generation Snapdragon 8 processor, complemented by Honor’s exclusive GPU Turbo X technology, which optimizes Qualcomm’s chipset performance. It introduces technologies like GPU rendering instruction stream reorganization and a game AI super frame super paint engine.
For imaging, the Honor Magic 6 Pro debuts with a 180 million pixel periscope telephoto lens, featuring the industry’s largest 1/1.49-inch telephoto large sensor. This allows for an equivalent 2.24μm super-large pixel size and an F2.6 large aperture, ensuring clearer telephoto images.
The device boasts a second-generation Qinghai Lake battery with a 5600mAh capacity, supporting 80W wired and 66W wireless fast charging.
Additionally, the Honor Magic 6 Pro comes pre-installed with MagicOS 8.0, offering the industry’s strongest AI performance. It introduces intent recognition for human-computer interaction for the first time. Honor’s AnyDoor technology enables direct access across applications in core scenarios like social media and search through intent recognition and semantic understanding.
