Huawei Mate 70 revealed! Inheriting the star ring design and adding titanium version

Huawei released the Mate 60 series through the “Pioneer Plan”. The sensation caused by the new phone after its launch is still vivid in our memory today. In a blink of an eye, the halfway point of 2024 has passed, and the release of Huawei’s Mate 70 series is getting closer and closer.

A few days ago, digital blogger “Smart Pikachu” revealed that the Huawei Mate 70 series will inherit the classic “star ring design”, while the top-end RS Master will continue to use the “octagonal design”.

It is reported that Huawei has started to use the “Star Ring” ID starting from the Mate 40 series. The classic axial symmetrical design is highly recognizable, and the lens modules are distributed on the outer star ring, presenting a modern and symmetrical beauty.

The blogger also mentioned the titanium version, which will show different product grades. It is expected that titanium will be exclusive to Huawei Mate 70 Pro+, and the RS Extraordinary Master will still be made of ceramic.

If the leak is accurate, the Mate 70 series will be Huawei’s first model to use titanium.

It is understood that titanium metal is widely used in aerospace, medical, high-end sports equipment and other fields due to its unique physical and chemical properties, because titanium metal is light, strong and corrosion-resistant.

In terms of screen, the Huawei Mate 70 series offers two options: pure straight screen and slightly curved screen, and the screen mainly features 1.5K resolution.

Among them, Huawei Mate 70 Pro has the same three-hole design as Mate 60 Pro, and the hole position and diameter are also the same as the previous generation.

It is worth mentioning that Huawei is currently the only mobile phone manufacturer that adopts such a solution.
