Huawei Mate 80 Pro returns to straight screen

Blogger Digital Chat Station hinted that Huawei Mate 80 Pro is testing a straight screen form factor and supports 3D face recognition.

In the second half of last year, the standard version of Huawei Mate 70 series used a straight screen and did not support 3D face recognition, while the Pro version used an iso-depth micro-curved screen and supported 3D face recognition .

According to the leaks, Huawei Mate 80 Pro will adopt a straight screen + 3D face recognition solution, and the iso-depth micro-curved screen is expected to be included in the Mate series flagship.

Looking back at the mobile phone industry, the high-end flagship models of major manufacturers usually adopted curved screen forms at the beginning, and later they were gradually upgraded to equal-depth micro-curved screens. Now straight screens will become the mainstream form of high-end flagships.
