Huawei smartphones regain top spot in China amid severe supply shortage

The sales volume of Pura70 series exceeded 10 million again, and Mate XT won the Time Magazine Innovation Award. The Mate 70 series has achieved significant improvements in photo taking, video shooting and performance experience through close collaboration of software, hardware, core and cloud.

According to Huawei’s 2024 first-half performance report released in August, within a year after Huawei launched the “Mate60Pro Pioneer Plan”, Huawei’s mobile phone business struggled to get rid of the “others” title and re-entered the top five domestic markets.

After the launch of the Pura70 series and Mate 70 series, Huawei’s return to its peak is just around the corner.

According to data from an authoritative market research organization, in Q4 2024 (W39-W52), based on the latest ranking of new phone activations in the Chinese mobile phone market, Huawei, Xiaomi, and Apple ranked in the top three.

Among them, the number of Huawei’s new phone activations reached 13.0878 million units, with a market share of 18.04%, ranking first.

Huawei takes the lead with the Mate 70 series, and institutions predict that its shipments will easily exceed 10 million units during its life cycle.
