MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ released: supports Alibaba Cloud, Wenxin, and other large models

MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ flagship 5G generative AI mobile chip was officially released today, which not only further improves performance, but also brings a breakthrough generative AI experience.

It is understood that Dimensity 9300+ is the industry’s first chip to achieve higher-speed Llama2 7B end-side operation, the industry’s first generative AI end-side dual LORA fusion, and supports the Al framework ExecuTorch.

At the same time, MediaTek has also reached cooperation with large models such as Google, Meta, Baidu, Baichuan Intelligence, and Alibaba Cloud.

Dimensity 9300+ supports mainstream AI large models such as Alibaba Cloud Tongyi Qianwen, Baichuan Large Model, Wenxin Large Model, Google Gemini Nano, and Lingyiwanwu.

In terms of core parameters, the Dimensity 9300+ is built on TSMC’s third-generation 4nm process and adopts a full-core CPU architecture. The eight-core CPU includes 4 Cortex-X4 ultra-large cores with a maximum frequency of 3.4 GHz, and 4 cores with a main frequency of 2.0 GHz Cortex-A720 large core.

On the GPU, Dimensity 9300+ uses Arm Immortalis-G720 MP12, which supports hardware-level ray tracing technology and game console-level global illumination effects.

MediaTek said that the Dimensity 9300+ stably runs popular games with HDR high image quality and 90FPS frame rate, and its power consumption can be reduced by 20% compared with similar products.

In other aspects, the chip supports Star Speed ​​Engine, game network seamless connection technology, etc., which greatly enhances the gaming experience.
