Meizu joins the Terminal Fast Charging Industry Association:support UFCS integrated fast charging without choosing a charger

according to the official introduction of the “Terminal Fast Charging Industry Association”, Zhuhai Meizu Technology Co., Ltd. has officially joined the Terminal Fast Charging Industry Association.

Meizu was founded in 2003 and has nearly 20 years of experience in consumer electronics research and development. In 2014, it was the first to launch the self-developed dual-Buck parallel fast charging technology mcharge 1.0. At that time, it was the industry leader in fast charging.

In February 2017, the first generation of super fast charging system Super mcharge1.0 was launched at the MWC conference in Barcelona. It was the industry’s first 2:1 charge pump + Buck innovative charging architecture, realizing 55W super fast charging function. With the new safe battery, a mobile phone can be fully charged in 20 minutes.

After joining the Terminal Fast Charging Industry Association, it means that Meizu products will support UFCS integrated fast charging in the future . They can be compatible with other brands through the integration agreement, activate fast charging with other brand chargers, and the charger can also fast charge other mobile phones.

It is understood that the UFCS integrated fast charging protocol is called “Technical Specification for Mobile Terminal Integrated Fast Charging” and is my country’s first fast charging technology standard.

The protocol aims to solve the problem of complex, changeable and incompatible fast charging standards currently on the market.

Led by the Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Huawei, OPPO, vivo, and Xiaomi, it has worked together with many terminal and chip companies and industry partners such as Silicon Power, Rockchip, Lihui Technology, and Angbao Electronics to complete the promotion.

Previously, Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO, etc. have launched a variety of devices that support UFCS integrated fast charging, including mobile phones, tablets, charging heads, etc.
