Poco X6 5G Passes Certifications IMDA and BIS

POCO, a renowned player in the smartphone market, is set to expand its portfolio with the anticipated launch of the POCO X6 series, following the success of the POCO X5 series earlier this year. The POCO X6 series is expected to include the POCO X6 5G, which has recently been spotted on the IMDA certification website, hinting at its imminent global debut.

Additionally, the Indian variant of the POCO X6 5G has cleared the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification, further indicating that the launch of the POCO X6 5G in India is just around the corner.

The POCO X6 5G, bearing the model number 23122PCD1G (with ‘G’ representing the global variant), has been the subject of recent leaks and speculations. Notably, tipster Kacper Skrzypek, known for his credible insights into Xiaomi and POCO-related developments, has revealed that the POCO X6 5G will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G from China.

This revelation was supported by a screenshot from MIUI code-shared by Kacper, which disclosed the moniker and model number of the upcoming POCO handset.

While the POCO X6 5G is expected to share similarities with the Redmi Note 13 Pro, it is also anticipated to feature distinct design elements and under-the-hood modifications, in line with POCO’s tradition of launching Redmi Note series handsets under the X series with unique tweaks.
