POCO X6 Pro 5G Set for Global Debut

Xiaomiui has reported that the POCO X6 Pro 5G, an eagerly awaited smartphone, is scheduled to launch globally in late January. This information comes after the device was recently spotted in FCC certification, revealing key specifications such as RAM, storage, and model number.

Specifications and Features

  • The POCO X6 Pro 5G is expected to be a rebrand of the Redmi K70E.
  • It will run on HyperOS based on Android 14.
  • The device will be available in two variants: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage.
  • It will support 67W wired fast charging and 5G connectivity.
  • The global and Indian units of the X6 Pro 5G have model numbers 2311DRK48G and 2311DRK48I, respectively.

Comparison with Redmi K70E

The Redmi K70E, the first smartphone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset, is closely related to the POCO X6 Pro 5G. However, the POCO model is likely to have toned-down 67W fast charging for global markets, compared to the 90W wired charging in the K70E.

Launch in India

POCO is also expected to launch the X6 Pro 5G in India in January, aligning with the global release schedule.

Upcoming POCO M6 5G Launch

In addition to the X6 Pro 5G, POCO has announced the launch of the POCO M6 5G on December 22 in India, marking the brand’s last launch for the year 2023.

In summary, the POCO X6 Pro 5G is gearing up for a global launch with promising features and specifications, offering a powerful option in the mid-range smartphone segment. The device’s launch in India is also highly anticipated, adding to POCO’s expanding portfolio in the market.
