PPO Find N5 officially announced to be connected to DeepSeek-R1

OPPO Find N5 will be officially released at 19:00 on February 20, claiming to be the “world’s thinnest folding screen.”

Today, OPPO announced that Find N5 has officially connected to DeepSeek-R1, which not only supports Xiaobu voice wake-up and one-sentence control, but also supports exclusive online search and export of local files.

OPPO Chief Product Officer Pete Lau posted on Weibo today to reiterate OPPO’s functional concept in AI: 1. The interaction is intuitive; 2. The experience is full and uncompromised; 3. The functions are complete and the scenarios are rich.

It is understood that DeepSeek R1 is an open source reasoning model released by the Chinese AI company DeepSeek on January 20, 2025.

This model achieves performance comparable to the official version of OpenAI o1 at a very low cost and is considered the biggest “dark horse” in the large model industry.

After becoming popular, DeepSeek attracted the attention and layout of domestic and foreign markets. The three major operators and major mobile phone manufacturers have connected to the DeepSeek large model.

With the support of DeepSeek, the interaction between users and OPPO Find N5 will be more intelligent and humane.

It is reported that OPPO Find N5 will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chip and 3D printed titanium alloy hinge. It is the world’s only folding flagship that supports IPX6, IPX8 and IPX9 full-level waterproof.

As the world’s thinnest foldable screen mobile phone, OPPO Find N5 is only about 4mm thick on one side and less than 9.2mm thick when folded.
