REDMI K90 Ultra is about to increase in price: Xiaomi’s first air-cooled flagship is coming.

Fast Technology News, April 1st – REDMI will officially release its new flagship K90 Ultra this month. Industry bloggers suggest that due to rising memory prices, the price of this Ultra model is expected to increase.

Looking back at previous product lines, from the K60 Ultra to the K80 Ultra, REDMI has consistently maintained a starting price of 2599 yuan. However, due to the recent surge in prices of core components such as memory, the K90 Ultra will likely break through this classic price range.

In fact, since the beginning of March, many mainstream mobile phone brands have successively raised the prices of their products. Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group, expressed his understanding for the competition, admitting that the entire industry is currently facing severe cost challenges, and Xiaomi is also under tremendous pressure in maintaining its price competitiveness.

As the highlight of this launch, the K90 Ultra boasts impressive performance specifications. It not only features the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 flagship platform, but also innovatively incorporates an active cooling fan inside the phone, making it the brand’s first air-cooled phone.

Through powerful air convection at the physical level, the system can quickly remove heat from the core motherboard area. This robust cooling method ensures that the phone can maintain stable full-frame operation for extended periods even when facing high-load gaming scenarios.

In terms of screen and battery life, this phone also reaches top-tier industry standards. It features a 1.5K resolution 165Hz LTPS high refresh rate flat screen and is equipped with an impressive 8500mAh high-capacity battery. Furthermore, it incorporates ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint technology, comprehensively enhancing the flagship experience.

The arrival of the K90 Ultra signifies that REDMI is further solidifying its leading position in the high-performance flagship market through a more robust hardware base and differentiated cooling technology. Despite the potential price increase, its overall competitiveness remains formidable.
