Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series turns into law enforcement recorder

two police departments in Missouri, the United States, have pioneered the introduction of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip foldable screen mobile phones as a powerful assistant in daily law enforcement work, marking the first time that foldable screen technology has been applied in the field of police law enforcement recorders.

In order to accurately meet the diverse needs of police operations, Samsung teamed up with Visual Labs, a leader in professional law enforcement equipment, to deeply customize the Galaxy Z Flip.

This innovative move not only cleverly transforms the original external volume button into an emergency recording start button, realizing the convenient operation of one-click recording, but also adds an intelligent function that automatically starts recording when a high-speed vehicle is chasing or the police lights are activated, ensuring that every detail of the critical moment can be accurately captured and recorded in real time.

The folding design of Galaxy Z Flip has become a major highlight of its use as a law enforcement recorder. It not only greatly improves its portability, making it easy for police officers to carry it with them and flexibly fix it on their uniforms, but also clearly records key scenes such as arrests and police-civilian interactions with its high-definition image quality, effectively enhancing the efficiency and transparency of law enforcement evidence collection.

In addition, this mobile phone integrates multiple functions such as photographing crime scene evidence, recording evidence and GPS locating police officers, providing all-round technical support for police work.

Currently, this innovative solution has been rapidly expanded to 25 major urban police departments in five states across the United States, and has received wide recognition and praise. Samsung said that they will continue to deepen their research in this field and strive to provide more American police departments with advanced and efficient law enforcement tools to help the modernization of policing.

At the same time, Visual Labs also worked with T-Mobile to jointly tailor law enforcement recorder solutions based on Android smartphones for law enforcement agencies, further enriching market choices and promoting innovative development of the entire industry.

It is worth noting that although the current US law enforcement recorder market is still dominated by well-known brands such as Axon and Motorola, the introduction of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has undoubtedly injected new vitality and possibilities into this field, indicating that future law enforcement technology will be more diversified and intelligent.
