Samsung launches ultra-thin flagship again after 10 years! Galaxy S25 Slim first exposed

 Samsung will launch an ultra-thin model next year, named Galaxy S25 Slim. By then, the Galaxy S25 series will have at least 4 models, namely Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Slim.

The model number of the Galaxy S25 is SM-S931, the model number of the Galaxy S25+ is SM-S936, and the model number of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is SM-S938.

Now the Galaxy S25 Slim has officially appeared in the GSMA IMEI database, and its model number is SM-S937U. It is reported that Samsung will first release the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra in Q1 next year, and then release the Galaxy S25 Slim separately in Q2 next year, which is expected to be unveiled in April or May.

The phone features a slim and light design and is expected to be the lightest and thinnest flagship in the Galaxy S25 series.

Public information shows that Samsung has been exploring the design of thin and light mobile phones for a long time. As early as 10 years ago, the company began trying to make mobile phones lighter and thinner.

For example, in 2014, Samsung launched the Galaxy S5, which was 8.1 mm thick, and then launched the even thinner Galaxy Alpha, which was only 6.7 mm thick.

The Galaxy S25 Slim brought by Samsung this time is expected to compete with the iPhone 17 Air in the second half of next year.
