Back in January, reports revealed that Samsung had been working on a new smartphone called the Galaxy M17e 5G. Initial details suggested that the model would likely be a rebranded edition of the Galaxy A07 5G. Based on the latest signs it now appears that Samsung is getting ready to introduce the phone to the market soon.
Samsung has listed support pages for the Galaxy M17e 5G on its official websites for Bangladesh and India (via Mohammed Khatri). The company usually makes such pages live just ahead of a product’s official launch. This development therefore hints that the launch of the Galaxy M17e 5G may be approaching soon.
This development indicates that Samsung could introduce the Galaxy M17e 5G in the near future and make the device available in at least these two regions.
Since the Galaxy M17e 5G is expected to be based on the Galaxy A07 5G it could come with similar hardware specification. The device may feature a 6.7 inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for a smoother viewing experience. Under the hood it could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage while running Samsung’s One UI 8.0 software. For photography, the device may offer a 50MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera for selfies and a large 6,000mAh battery for extended usage.
