Samsung’s Exynos 2700 outperforms Qualcomm’s SuperSupreme Edition in multi-core benchmarks.

According to a report by Fast Technology on October 7, blogger iIce Universe revealed that Samsung internally tested the Exynos 2700, and its multi-core performance was 9.5% higher than that of Qualcomm’s sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra.

It is reported that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra’s multi-core score is around 13,000. Based on this, it is inferred that the Samsung Exynos 2700’s multi-core score could approach 15,000, making it the most powerful mobile chip in the Android camp.

Public leaks indicate that the core upgrades of the Exynos 2700 mainly focus on three aspects: manufacturing process, packaging, and clock speed. Regarding the manufacturing process, the chip will use Samsung’s second-generation 2nm GAA process SF2P. Compared to the first-generation SF2 process, its overall performance is expected to improve by 12%, while overall power consumption is reduced by 25%.

According to previously disclosed information, Samsung’s SF2P process achieved a 70% yield threshold in January 2026, which laid the foundation for chips to reach higher frequencies.

In terms of packaging, the Exynos 2700 abandons the traditional vertical stacking memory solution and instead adopts a new architecture called Side-by-Side. This architecture places the SoC and DRAM side by side and covers them with a thermal conductive block (HPB). This structure can increase the contact area between the SoC and the heat dissipation material, eliminate the thermal resistance caused by vertical stacking, and thus further enhance heat dissipation performance.

Furthermore, the Exynos 2700’s super core frequency is expected to be boosted to 4.2GHz, making it Samsung’s most powerful mobile chip to date. This chip will debut in the Samsung Galaxy S27 series, while the Chinese and US versions are expected to still use Snapdragon chips.

Reports indicate that the production volume of the Exynos 2700 has increased by 10% compared to its predecessor, the Exynos 2600, which suggests that the yield rate of Samsung’s SF2P process has further improved.
