Samsung’s most powerful SoC! Exynos 2700 emerges: 2nm process, 10-core design

Although the Exynos 2600 has not yet been released, Samsung’s next-generation flagship chip, the Exynos 2700, has already surfaced, with some details being leaked in advance.

According to information published by the Geekbench benchmarking website, the Samsung Exynos 2700 features a 10-core design, with the CPU consisting of 1×2.30GHz + 4×2.40GHz + 1×2.78GHz + 4×2.88GHz , and is manufactured using Samsung’s 2nm process, making it the most powerful mobile phone chip in Samsung’s history.

It’s worth mentioning that Samsung’s 2nm GAA process has achieved a yield of 50%, and the company is currently developing the second-generation version of this process, namely SF2P. Therefore, the Samsung Exynos 2700 uses the SF2P process, which is more advanced than the Exynos 2600’s process .

Furthermore, the Samsung Exynos 2700 OpenCL benchmark score revealed this time is only 15618 points, far lower than its own Exynos 2600. This is because the device equipped with the Exynos 2700 is an engineering prototype used for scheduler and architecture verification work, and the benchmark score does not represent the chip’s true performance.

As is customary, next year’s Galaxy S27 series flagship will be the first to feature its own Exynos 2700 chip.
