Samsung’s new three-fold screen mobile phone size exposed

The renderings of Samsung’s three-fold mobile phone have been exposed and are expected to be released in the third quarter of this year.

Well-known display analyst Ross Young revealed that the cover display size of Samsung’s three-fold mobile phone will reach 6.49 inches, which is quite similar to the cover screen size of the Galaxy Z Fold special edition, indicating that users will be able to enjoy a wider visual experience.

It is worth noting that this news also means that Samsung may bid farewell to the narrow-border display design used in the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and previous Galaxy folding phones, bringing users a new visual feast.

As early as the Galaxy S25 launch conference earlier this year, Samsung Electronics confirmed that it was actively developing a tri-fold smartphone. At that time, the company also revealed a number of new smartphones under development, further demonstrating its strong strength in innovation.

It is rumored that Samsung’s tri-fold phone will have a foldable screen of up to 10 inches when unfolded, and its product name has been preliminarily determined to be “Galaxy G Fold”, indicating that this will be a flagship product that combines technology and aesthetics.

In terms of screen performance, the phone is also not to be underestimated. Its screen brightness test value can reach 1900 nits (officially claimed to be as high as 2600 nits), the external screen is also 6.49 inches, and the brightness also reaches an amazing 2600 nits. In addition, the phone also supports adaptive refresh rate and Pro Scaler function, bringing users a smoother and more delicate visual experience.

Samsung’s three-fold screen mobile phone adopts a new design concept in hinge design, and it makes a unique sound when opening and closing, highlighting its extraordinary quality. However, it is not clear whether the phone is waterproof.

In terms of charging speed, the phone charges at about 23W, but the final typical value may reach 25W, meeting users’ needs for fast charging.
