Fast Technology reported that the hardware specifications of OPPO’s first wide-screen smartphone have been leaked ahead of schedule. According to a blogger, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M platform and features an 8000mAh battery, making it the most powerful and largest-capacity wide-screen smartphone to date.
It is reported that the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M adopts an all-big-core architecture, including an eight-core CPU, which consists of C1-Ultra, C1-Premium and C1-Pro CPU cores.
This chip is manufactured using TSMC’s advanced 3nm process, supports the new Armv9.3 architecture and SME2 instruction set, enhances AI perception performance and improves machine learning efficiency, and also supports ultra-fast quad-channel UFS 4.1.
Moreover, the Dimensity 9600M brings the Dimensity Scheduling Engine 3.0, which achieves seamless and stable system and application response speed, provides outstanding application startup speed in its class, eliminates lag, and maintains full frame rate for a sustained period of time.
In terms of AI, the Dimensity 9600M integrates the powerful NPU 990, which is designed to bring an excellent edge-side generative AI and intelligent agent AI experience to scenarios such as content creation, video conferencing and productivity.
In terms of imaging configuration, the OPPO wide-screen phone features dual 200MP lenses: a 200MP main camera and a 200MP telephoto lens. The high-pixel sensors help retain more image details, improving resolution in low-light, portrait, and landscape photography. Currently, the image algorithms are still in the tuning stage, and the final image performance is highly anticipated.
In addition, the OPPO wide screen adopts the classic 16:9 aspect ratio, with a screen size of about 6.3 inches and a 2K resolution. Combined with the ultra-narrow bezel, it provides a better visual experience.
This new product will be officially released in the first half of next year and belongs to the OPPO Find Pro series.
