Snapdragon 8E processor + massive battery! REDMI K100 starts at over 3000 yuan.

According to Fast Technology on October 19, the REDMI K100 is scheduled to be released on October 27.

The new product is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra flagship platform (Note: hereinafter referred to as Snapdragon 8E), along with the powerful D2 discrete graphics chip, a 165Hz gaming high refresh rate screen, and Xiaomi’s largest 10000mAh battery, supporting 100W wired flash charging. Judging from its core configuration, this model clearly aims for a balance between high performance and long battery life.

The blogger “Digital Chat Station” stated that the Snapdragon 8E processor in the REDMI K100 was a generation of incremental improvements from Qualcomm back in the day. Currently, this chip occupies a delicate position: not much worse than the higher-end models, but significantly better than the lower-end ones. With proper performance tuning, the difference in daily user experience compared to the Snapdragon 8E5 and Snapdragon 8EE6 will be much smaller than expected.

For most people, the experience offered by the Snapdragon 8E is not significantly different from platforms that cost one or two thousand yuan more, and it may even be better in terms of stability. Therefore, it remains a very competitive choice in the 3,000 yuan price range.

It’s easy to see that the REDMI K100 is positioned as a performance phone in the 3000 yuan price range. Currently, the REDMI K90 is priced from 3499 yuan (12GB+256GB) on Xiaomi Mall, so the starting price of the K100 will be at least 3499 yuan.

Compared to other models in the same price range, the REDMI K100 not only features a dedicated gaming graphics chip, but also boasts a large battery and BOSE tuning, making its overall configuration quite competitive.

The REDMI K100 is now available for pre-order on major platforms. By paying a deposit of 9.9 yuan at the Xiaomi Mall, you can receive a valuable new product gift package, including Xiaomi Air 4 SE wireless earphones, a one-year extended warranty, 6-month interest-free installments, trade-in subsidies, and 365 days of “replace only, no repair” benefits.
