OnePlus Ace 7 series officially announces groundbreaking dual-channel airflow cooling technology.

Fast Technology reported that OnePlus has released a new round of official teasers regarding the active cooling design of the Ace 7 series. Today, OnePlus CEO Li Jie posted an article introducing the new phone’s fan cooling solution, revealing that the series will adopt a pioneering dual-airflow design, balancing chip cooling with the grip experience during landscape gaming.

Li Jie stated that many mobile phones now incorporate active cooling fans, but the addition of fans does not necessarily improve the gaming experience. Especially in landscape gaming scenarios, if hot air blows directly onto the hand, or if the air intake is blocked by the palm, it may affect the heat dissipation effect and the actual grip experience.

To address these issues, the OnePlus Ace 7 series had a clear goal from the very beginning of its design: to create an active cooling solution that is more suitable for landscape gaming.

According to official information, the new phone has been optimized in four main areas.

First, it features a dual-airflow design, using two independent air ducts to dissipate heat for the chip and the back cover respectively. Li Jie stated that this solution, pioneered by OnePlus, can simultaneously address both core hardware cooling and surface temperature control.

Secondly, the air intake layout has been optimized. Taking into account the finger position when players hold the phone horizontally, the air intake is kept as unobstructed as possible to ensure heat dissipation efficiency.

In addition, the new device adopts a design that exhausts hot air upwards, avoiding direct hot airflow onto the player’s fingers and reducing the interference of hot air on the operating experience during long gaming sessions.

Finally, cool air will also blow over the back cover of the device, helping to reduce hand stuffiness and sweating issues caused by prolonged use. Judging from the official illustrations, this is one of the key design features emphasized in this cooling solution.

It’s worth noting that, rather than simply pursuing lower chip temperatures, OnePlus has also taken into account the surface temperature of the device, the grip posture, and the airflow layout in its design, in an attempt to improve the user experience of actively cooled phones in actual gaming scenarios.
