Vivo has been launching a series of phones frequently for the last couple of years, yet the vivo Y100t has quietly made its debut, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 8200, a mid-range powerhouse processor, and supporting 120W fast charging. This new model has been listed on the official website and e-commerce platforms, with pre-sales starting on February 23, although the price has yet to be announced.
The Dimensity 8200 chip, manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process, adopts a 1+3+4 architecture with a performance core of Cortex A78 reaching up to 3.1GHz and four efficiency cores of A55 at 2.0GHz. This chipset is celebrated for its exceptional performance and battery life, with AnTuTu scores potentially exceeding one million.
The vivo Y100t appears to be a revamped version of the iQOO Z8, launched in August last year, with the 12GB+512GB model priced at 1999 yuan. It’s expected that the new model will be priced even more competitively.
Specifications for the vivo Y100t are anticipated to largely mirror those of the iQOO Z8, featuring a 6.64-inch LCD full screen with a resolution of 2388 x 1080, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 16MP front camera, a 64MP+2MP rear camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery.
