Vivo X100 Pro+ Is Getting Ready For Launch In April

The highly anticipated flagship from Vivo, the X100 Pro+, is poised for launch, marking a significant milestone for the brand in the high-end smartphone market. Vivo’s Vice President, Jia Jingdong, recently hinted that the brand’s new flagship and a new foldable phone are slated for release in the first half of this year.

Some bloggers have further pinpointed that the Vivo X100 Pro+ is expected to debut around April, following the launch of a tablet and a foldable phone, the latter being a lightweight 8 Gen 3 model set for a March release.

The Vivo X100 Pro+ shares many similarities with its predecessors, the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro, especially in terms of design. However, it’s anticipated that the X100 Pro+ will feature an enhanced imaging system, particularly in its telephoto capabilities.

Leaks suggest the X100 Pro+ will sport a triple camera setup on the rear, including Sony’s latest 1-inch LYT900 sensor as the primary camera, a new 50-megapixel sensor for ultra-wide shots, and a 200-megapixel periscope lens for long-range photography.

Additionally, the device is expected to feature a Samsung 2K E7 display with a 1440Hz PWM dimming function and be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor. It’s also rumored to house a 5400mAh battery, supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The X100 series has been celebrated for its exceptional imaging capabilities, offering professional-grade photography features. The large periscope telephoto lens, upgraded to an aperture of f/2.57, enables up to 100x digital zoom and supports a 1:2 equivalent magnification ratio, achieving nearly lossless 1:1 magnification for macro photography.

The X100 Pro was the first mobile imaging device to incorporate the Zeiss APO super-telephoto lens, enhancing long-range image quality with superior chromatic aberration control and resolution. This series also introduces Vivo’s new 6nm custom imaging chip, V3, which brings a second-generation FIT dual-core interconnect system, enhancing real-time imaging processing for video recording.

With the OriginOS 4 system, the X100 series offers a smarter, more user-friendly, and smoother system experience, integrating features like super power-saving mode and AI offline translation to enhance everyday convenience.

The Vivo X100 series, including the upcoming X100 Pro+, continues to push the boundaries in aesthetics, performance, imaging, and system capabilities, potentially setting a new standard for flagship smartphones in the year’s start.
