Xiaomi 13 Ultra Receives HyperOS Official Version Update

Xiaomi has rolled out the official version of HyperOS for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The update, version 1.0.4.0.UMACNXM, is a substantial 6.2GB package that brings a series of new features and enhancements to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

Improved Performance and Lower Power Consumption

According to feedback from Xiaomi community users, the HyperOS update on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is smoother compared to MIUI 14, showing noticeable improvements. The update includes a key task recognition dyeing technology that dynamically manages resource allocation based on task importance, resulting in stronger performance with lower power consumption.

System and Memory Enhancements

The update features a comprehensive reconstruction of the system’s underlying structure. At the system kernel level, Xiaomi has integrated its self-developed Vela system kernel with a deeply modified Linux system kernel. The update also reduces system memory management resource consumption, significantly enhancing available memory and background residency capabilities. The renewed storage technology effectively reduces phone storage fragmentation, ensuring long-term device performance.

Cross-End Smart Connectivity

HyperOS introduces the new Xiaomi HyperConnect cross-end interconnection framework, enabling efficient device connections and collaboration. It also features a new integrated device center, allowing users to view and control nearby devices directly from the control center.

Global Life-Sensing Aesthetics

The update brings a complete overhaul of dynamic effects, color systems, interfaces, and notifications, providing users with a fresh system aesthetic experience.

Update Precautions

Users are advised to back up personal data before updating, as some third-party applications may not function normally due to a lack of version compatibility.

The HyperOS update for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra introduces significant improvements in performance, memory management, connectivity, and aesthetics. This major update reflects Xiaomi’s commitment to enhancing user experience and device capabilities through software advancements.
