9000mAh vs. Competitors’ 10000mAh! The REDMI Turbo 5 Max Battery Life Endurance Race Officially Begins

Fast Technology reported that REDMI announced the official start of the 2.5K battery life endurance competition. The REDMITurbo 5 Max, with a 9000mAh battery, is competing against competitors with 10000mAh batteries . Real-world testing was conducted under heavy load scenarios such as gaming and video playback, with simultaneous testing in the same environment and conditions, without shutting down or ending the broadcast.

As shown in the poster, the challenges include playing games and making video calls for 4 hours; watching 100 episodes of short dramas for 2 hours; watching live streams and selecting tech gadgets for 1 hour; adding items to a shopping cart while playing video for 2.5 hours; and recording 4K video for 1 hour, until the device is shut down.

In addition to the REDMI Turbo 5 Max, the models participating in this test also included a competitor’s 10000mAh phone, a competitor’s 8300mAh phone, and a competitor’s 9000mAh phone.

The project currently being tested in the live stream is “playing games while making video calls”. The competitor’s 9000mAh phone has 87% battery remaining, the REDMI Turbo 5 Max has 90% battery remaining, the competitor’s 10000mAh phone has 85% battery remaining, and the competitor’s 8300mAh phone has 89% battery remaining. At present, the REDMI Turbo 5 Max is temporarily in the lead.

It is reported that the REDMI Turbo 5 Max 9000mAh is the largest Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery to date, with an ultra-high energy density of 894Wh/L and a silicon content of 16%, which can easily last a day for heavy users.

In addition, the REDMI Turbo 5 Max is the first to launch the new Dimensity 9500s flagship platform. This chip was jointly defined by REDMI and MediaTek. The official goal of the REDMI Turbo series is to become a full-performance flagship in the 2.5K price range.
