Ahead of Huawei! Transsion launches a three-fold screen concept phone

Before Huawei, Transsion, the king of Africa, took action and unveiled a three-fold screen concept phone, Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2.

It should be noted that the Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 is a concept device, while the Huawei triple-folding screen unveiled in September is a mass-produced machine.

It is reported that Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 adopts a dual-hinge design. Its size when folded is 6.48 inches, which is comparable to the size of a traditional candy-bar phone. When unfolded, the screen size is 10 inches, comparable to a tablet computer.

According to Transsion, Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 uses the latest TDDI technology, which is an integrated touch and display driver solution.

It integrates the touch chip and display chip into a single chip, making the device thinner and lighter. When folded, the thickness of Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 is only 11mm.

In addition, Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 uses a self-developed hinge, which Transsion has conducted reliability tests on and found to be able to withstand 300,000 folds.

In addition, Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 supports hinged hovering, and TRANSSION has also independently developed a tent mode. In this mode, when users have face-to-face conversations, the two screens can translate in real time to facilitate communication.

In terms of multitasking, Tecno Phantom Ultimate 2 supports running 3 apps at the same time to improve efficiency.
