Apple iPhone 16 series is in full mass production! expected to reach 95 million units

According to previous reports, Apple is very optimistic about the shipment volume of the iPhone 16 series. The shipment target has increased by more than 10% compared to the iPhone 15 series, reaching at least 90 million units and is expected to reach 95 million units .

Apple’s iPhone 16 is in full mass production, which means that related components are in large supply, and component suppliers have entered the large-scale production stage earlier to ensure the subsequent demand for whole machine assembly.

Among them, the production of iPhone 16 series displays began in June and increased to sufficient quantity in July to ensure the launch in September.

By the end of this year, Samsung is expected to supply about 80 million OLED panels to Apple, and LG is expected to supply about 43 million panels, with a total output of about 120 million units, which is about 30% of the surplus compared to the shipment volume of 90 million units .

It is reported that the iPhone 16 series will adopt ultra-thin bezel technology, reducing the bezel by 31%, from 2.2mm to at least 1.5mm, which will significantly improve the visual effect.

In addition, the screen size of iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max has increased slightly, with the Pro version upgraded from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches, and the Pro Max version upgraded from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches, while the display size of the standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus remains unchanged.
