Honor’s Magic8 Pro Air is scheduled to launch on January 19. Even before the official release, a prototype of the phone seems to have been tested on Geekbench 6.5. As is often the case, the results of this test have been added to Geekbench’s online database giving people an early look at the phone’s performance.
Registered as LDY-AN00, the Magic8 Pro Air has made an early appearance in Geekbench 6.5, revealing some of its raw processing power. The device scored 2,969 points in the single-core test and 9,892 points in the multi-core test, suggesting it could handle both everyday tasks and more demanding applications with ease. It’s important to remember that these numbers come from a prototype, so they might differ from what the finished device will actually deliver.
The smartphone comes with Android 16 as its operating system and is powered by the powerful Dimensity 9500 chipset. The device features 16GB of RAM but there is a possibility that Honor will provide additional variants with even higher memory capacity.
Honor has already confirmed that the Magic8 Pro Air will feature 50MP main camera with a large 1/1.3 inch sensor designed to capture sharp and detailed photos. In addition, the phone is equipped with 64MP periscope telephoto camera which should allow for impressive zoom capabilities. Rumors indicate that the phone may include a 50MP ultrawide lens, a 6.3 inch AMOLED screen for vibrant visuals and internal storage options reaching as high as 1TB. According to a leaked product page, the Magic8 Pro Air is incredibly thin at 6.1mm and weighs just 155 grams, emphasizing a combination of slimness and portability.
