The Honor Magic8 series which was originally introduced in China on October 15 is finally set to make its global launch next week. The company is scheduled to showcase its newest flagship lineup in Malaysia on November 27, although only the Magic8 Pro is expected to be available for purchase in the country. The series is also likely to enter European markets soon allowing users across the continent to get their hands on the highly awaited device.
The Magic8 Pro will be available for pre-order starting from November 27 to December 4. Anyone who pre-orders the device within this time frame will have the opportunity to receive a free Insta360 Ace Pro action camera. This special promotion is designed to reward early adopters and tech users who don’t want to miss out Honor’s latest innovations.
The phone will come with a smaller 7,100mAh battery for global markets, which is slightly less than the 7,200mAh battery found in the Chinese model. While the difference is minor, it does mean that users in global markets might experience slightly shorter battery life compared to the original Chinese edition.
The Honor Magic8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor providing fast and smooth performance for all tasks. It has a 6.71 inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. For photography the phone has a triple camera setup including a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide lens with autofocus, allowing users to take high quality photos in multiple scenarios.
