Honor WIN2 series is the world’s first to feature a 2K 185Hz gaming screen.

Fast Technology reported that Visionox officially confirmed that the Honor WIN2 series is the world’s first to feature a 2K 185Hz gaming screen, and it will be featured across the entire series.

In the mobile OLED industry, the combination of 2K high resolution and 185Hz ultra-high refresh rate has long been regarded as an engineering challenge. The millions of pixels are refreshed and charged at 185 times per second, which puts a severe test on pixel driving, power consumption control and signal link. In the past, most products could only make trade-offs, either reducing the resolution to maintain the high refresh rate, or only putting the top screen on the top-of-the-line model.

Honor and Visionox overcame screen stability issues under high load scenarios through end-to-end customization, achieving mass production of both 2K high definition and 185Hz ultra-high refresh rate, breaking the industry’s impossible triangle of “high definition, high refresh rate, and eye protection” being mutually exclusive.

In addition, it can achieve a 5000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, a 520Hz true ten-finger touch reporting rate, and an 800Hz flagship-level gyroscope, making operation as precise as you want and reducing the responsiveness in e-sports scenarios.

On the image quality side, it offers full-scene 2K ultra-high-definition picture quality and original-level AI super-resolution algorithm, 185Hz natively adapted to more than 40 mainstream games, and the screen adopts an industry-leading ultra-narrow four-sided equal bezel design of 0.93mm, which improves the screen ratio and grip feel.

In terms of eye protection, the screen features 5920Hz low-fluctuation, zero-risk PWM dimming and covers all high refresh rate levels. It has passed the German TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 6.0 and flicker-free dual certifications. Global Eye Protection 6.0 is the first certification in the industry to pass the high dynamic range standard.

The Honor WIN2 series is positioned as the top-tier gaming phone of the year, equipped with the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra chip and the industry’s first dual-fan full-area heat dissipation. It will be officially launched at the press conference on October 21.

The official price of Honor WIN2 has been announced in advance. The 12+512GB version will be available for a limited time at a special price of 5999 yuan, which is significantly lower than the lowest price of 6499 yuan in the same platform.

Most importantly, the price of 5999 yuan is just within the national subsidy range, and with the national subsidy, the final price is only 5499 yuan, which is 1000 yuan cheaper than competing products on the same platform, making it a true price killer.
