according to the official bidding and procurement platform of China FAW, a new “Public Announcement of Direct Procurement Candidates for Hongqi Mobile Phone Development Technology Procurement” has been added recently, and the supplier is Hubei Xingji Meizu Group Co., Ltd.

This means that Hongqi’s first mobile phone product will most likely be made by Meizu and may be unveiled soon.

In fact, the cooperation between the two parties has long been made clear. In April this year, China FAW announced that it had signed a strategic cooperation agreement on smart cockpits with Ecarx Technology.

The chairman and CEO of Ecarx Technology is Shen Ziyu, who is also the current chairman and CEO of Star Meizu (the current CEO has been replaced by Su Jing).

After the two parties announced their cooperation, promotional pictures of the Hongqi mobile phone were exposed on the Internet.

It shows that the first Hongqi mobile phone is based on the Meizu 21 PRO. The logo on the back is changed to the iconic “Hongqi”, and the boot animation is also changed to a customized Hongqi version.

In terms of specifications, it is expected to completely inherit the solution of Meizu 21 PRO, with a 6.79-inch screen on the front, 2K+ ultra-clear resolution, the core is equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship chip, supports up to 16GB+1TB storage combination, and has a built-in 5050mAh battery.

In addition to its good hardware configuration, the biggest highlight of this phone is driver connectivity. Through Flyme Link mobile domain technology, Hongqi cars and Hongqi car computers can be better linked. It is not limited to car keys, but can also realize the driver’s application flow, seamless cross-platform experience and other experiences.
