BOE exclusively supplies screens for Nubia’s NaviX Ultra: Battery life increased by 30%.

Fast Technology reported that Nubia officially released the NaviX Ultra, a new phone equipped with the Doubao mobile assistant consumer version, becoming the world’s first AI-powered smartphone, with prices starting at 5999 yuan.

Following the launch of the new phone, BOE announced that it would exclusively supply the Nubia NaviX Ultra with an AI native flagship screen, highlighting four major advantages: power saving, eye protection, accurate display, and durability.

As AI-powered batch office and automated task processing functions become more widespread, the long-term operation of AI background tasks on mobile phones places higher demands on screen power consumption and overall battery life.

To address this, the Nubia NaviX Ultra adopts BOE’s LTPO 2.0 technology, which supports intelligent dynamic refresh rate adjustment from 1 to 144Hz. It can adaptively switch between 144Hz high refresh rate and 1Hz low power consumption, improving the overall battery life of the device by 30%.

Even when the phone is in standby mode with the screen off, the screen can still stably support the AI background operation with extremely low power consumption, avoiding rapid power consumption.

In terms of eye protection, the Nubia NaviX Ultra is equipped with a full-link layered eye protection system, adopts full DC dimming technology, and supports a dual solution of high brightness DC dimming and low brightness 2160Hz high frequency PWM dimming.

Meanwhile, the new model adopts a new generation of high-performance light-emitting devices, supporting a minimum brightness of 1 nit and a peak outdoor brightness of up to 4500 nits, balancing comfortable display in low-light environments and visibility in bright light environments.

In terms of display, the Nubia NaviX Ultra is equipped with a 1.5K screen that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut.

Each screen has undergone Demura pixel-level image quality optimization and Gamma curve calibration, achieving a color accuracy of ΔE<1, which can meet the needs of application scenarios with high requirements for color accuracy, such as AI image and text generation and intelligent editing.

In terms of durability, BOE has also equipped the Nubia NaviX Ultra with a new generation of high-strength microcrystalline glass. The official claim is that its wear resistance is 100% higher than that of ordinary mobile phones, and it can withstand the impact of a drop from a height of 1.2 meters onto a hard, gravelly surface, further improving its reliability in outdoor and complex environments.
