Honor was expected to launch its highly anticipated GT 2 series of gaming smartphones in the near future. However, it now seems that there could be a slight change in those plans. According to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, instead of keeping the original GT series name Honor could introduce the new phones under a completely different name calling the series the Honor Win series.
The update has already appeared on a JD.com listing and we now have the very first set of images showing what the upcoming Honor Win will look like.
This device will be available in black, blue and cyan colors. Its large camera module contains three sensors and it appears to feature an active cooling fan to prevent overheating. The Win series branding can also be clearly seen on the side of the camera section.
According to rumors, the Honor Win will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip while the Pro version is expected to come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. One of these two devices is rumored to feature a massive 10,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. In addition, both phones are expected to come with large 6.8 inch OLED displays that offer 1.5K resolution and high refresh rates, ensuring a smooth and immersive viewing experience.
