Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max wins first place in AI mobile phone scene intelligence evaluation

Fast Technology reported that the China Telecom Terminal Research and Testing Center recently released its December 2025 AI mobile phone scenario intelligence evaluation.

In this evaluation, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max ranked first with an AI mobile phone scene intelligence comprehensive score of 518.7, and swept the first place in four core scenarios: AI social scenario, AI learning scenario, AI imaging scenario, and AI office scenario.

It is understood that after upgrading to HarmonyOS 6, Xiaoyi has been upgraded to a super assistant, which not only supports more dialect recognition, but also can conduct in-depth research and analysis, and supports one-sentence photo editing, one-sentence background execution of complex tasks and other capabilities, further enhancing the intelligent experience.

In addition, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max also supports a number of AI functions, such as AI one-click image creation, AI intelligent focus tracking, AI air teleportation, AI intelligent grip, AI facial expression mimicry, and AI emotion perception theme, covering multiple usage scenarios such as imaging, interaction, and personalization.

In terms of core configuration, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max is equipped with Huawei’s most powerful mobile chip to date—the Kirin 9030 Pro, which has a 42% performance improvement compared to the Mate 70 Pro+.

This camera is the first to feature a periscope dual telephoto lens setup, including a 50-megapixel 4x optical macro telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel 6.2x optical super telephoto lens, and supports 12.4x optical quality zoom.
