iQOO 12 Adds New RanTu Color Variant Before The Launch

The iQOO 12 series, an anticipated flagship lineup featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, is set for its official debut. The series, which includes the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro, is notable for being the first to feature a periscope telephoto lens in this processor category. The iQOO 12 series is available for pre-order on the official iQOO website, with the official sale starting on November 24th, beginning at a price of 3999 yuan or $544.

The series includes different versions like the Legend Edition and the Race Track Edition, which have already hit the market with a glass material design. The upcoming ‘Ran Tu’ variant will feature a suede material and incorporate a unique wind imprint texture, offering a blend of energy, freedom, and romance in its design.

In terms of appearance, the iQOO 12 series introduces a new design language called ‘Wanli Xuan Window’. This design is characterized by continuously changing curvature lines, with no straight lines or flat surfaces, providing a high degree of recognition.

The most significant feature of the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro is their periscope telephoto lens, boasting a 64-megapixel sensor. This setup supports 3x optical zoom, combining telephoto shooting, telephoto macro, and telephoto portrait effects in one. The devices can achieve up to 10x high-definition zoom and a maximum of 100x zoom, powered by the new NICE neural image algorithm.

Regarding specifications, the iQOO 12 features a 6.78-inch 2800×1260 OLED straight screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, a partial excitation brightness of 3000nit, a 5000mAh battery, and supports 120W fast charging. The iQOO 12 Pro has a 6.78-inch screen made of Samsung E7 material, a 2K+ resolution, a 16-megapixel front camera, a 5100mAh battery, and also supports 120W flash charging.
