iQOO has officially confirmed the launch date for its new Neo 9 series, which includes the iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro smartphones. The launch event is scheduled for December 27 in China and will be live-streamed at 7 PM (UTC + 8).
The teaser video for the event reveals that the upcoming smartphones will be available in black and blue color options, as well as a dual-tone variant featuring red and white leather inserts.
Additionally, customers who pre-book the Neo 9 series will receive a Bluetooth speaker, a 30-day return or exchange option, and an exchange bonus.
The iQOO Neo 9 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, paired with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It will also feature the Q1 Supercomputing chip, previously used in the iQOO 12 5G to enhance gaming performance.
The device will run Origin OS 4 based on Android 14 and support 120W fast charging. It is expected to have a 5160mAh battery with a built-in power management chip.
The Neo 9 series devices are likely to sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. They will include an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster.
The standard iQOO Neo 9 is confirmed to have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The dual rear camera setup will feature a 50MP Sony IMX 920 sensor and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide shooter.
Alongside the smartphones, iQOO will also introduce the iQOO Watch and iQOO TWS 1e at the event, expanding its range of tech accessories.
