The Redmi Turbo 5 series is set to officially launch in China tomorrow. In the days leading up to the launch event Redmi has been actively sharing and teasing several important details about the upcoming smartphones. A few days ago, the company confirmed the key specifications of the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. Now, Redmi has also revealed information related to the standard Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone.
Through a series of posts shared on Weibo, Redmi has officially confirmed that the Redmi Turbo 5 will be powered by the Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor. Along with this powerful processor the phone will be paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring smooth performance and quick access to data.
The smartphone will also feature a 3D ice-sealed vapor chamber cooling system. This cooling technology is said to enhance heat management by efficiently dispersing heat which helps maintain stable performance.
Redmi has also shared details about the display and battery of the upcoming Turbo 5 smartphone. The smartphone will come with a 6.59 inch AMOLED screen. It will also feature a large 7,560mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging.
The Redmi Turbo 5 will come with a premium design that includes a metal frame, slim bezels around the display and a glass back panel. Redmi has also shared official images that show the device in white and mint green color variants. According to reports, the smartphone is likely to be priced around CNY 2,000, which is close to $290, in the Chinese market.
