MediaTek Dimensity 9400e officially released: upgraded Bluetooth 6.0! 5km line-of-sight interconnection

MediaTek has just officially released the Dimensity 9400e flagship mobile platform. Although it is clearly affiliated with the Dimensity 9400, it is actually an upgraded version of the Dimensity 9300+ and the changes are not significant.

The overall specifications of Dimensity 9400e are basically the same as those . It is also the third-generation TSMC 4nm process. The eight CPU cores include one X4 3.4GHz + three X4 2.85GHz + four A720 2.0GHz, integrated 8MB of L3 cache, 10MB of system cache, and the GPU graphics core is Immortalis-G720 MC12, and there is also an NPU 790 AI engine.

The main change is that the memory support has deleted the higher specification LPDDR5T-9600, retaining only the common standard LPDDR5X-8533.

LPDDR5T is a memory standard developed by SK Hynix that can achieve higher frequencies. It was first verified on the Dimensity 9300 series and is currently used in vivo X100 and OPPO Find X7. I don’t know why its support was cancelled this time. It may be to reduce costs.

Second, the Bluetooth specification has been upgraded from Bluetooth 5.4 to Bluetooth 6.0 and dual Bluetooth engines, the same as the Dimensity 9400 series. The Bluetooth connection distance between mobile phones within line of sight can reach 5 kilometers.

Other main features of Dimensity 9400e include: Star Speed Engine Adaptive Control Technology 2.0 (MAGT 2.0), Dimensity Frame Double Technology 2.0+ (MFRC 2.0+), the new generation Dimensity AI development kit NeuroPilot SDK, enhanced inference decoding technology (SpD+), support for global mainstream large language models/small language models/end-side models/multi-modal models, Sub-6GHz four-carrier aggregation downlink peak 7Gbps, Wi-Fi 7 tri-band concurrency and 5 data streams peak downlink 7.3Gbps, multi-standard dual-card dual-pass, and more.

The first batch of terminals equipped with Dimensity 9400e include OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition, Realme Neo7 Turbo, vivo S30 Pro, etc.
