Nubia Z70 Ultra series supports IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance

Nubia Z70 Ultra will be released at 14:00 on November 21. Today, Nubia Mobile officially announced that the entire new series is equipped with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.

In the last two digits of IPXX, the first X represents the dust resistance level, ranging from 0 to 6, with the highest level being 6; the second X represents the waterproof level. In the past, the highest level on mobile phones was 8, and 9 represents a higher level.

IPX9 waterproof allows the device to withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water or steam. Specifically, it means that it can still be used normally by users under water flow with a maximum water pressure of 100 bar and a temperature of 80°C.

This means that it can provide a high degree of protection even when used in the shower, which was not possible with IP68 before.

The Nubia Z70 Ultra will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chip, and the industry’s only 1.5K 6.85-inch true full-screen hole-free screen on the front. The PPI reaches 430, which is the highest pixel density of current under-screen solutions. The new phone will be a true full-screen Android flagship.

It is understood that Nubia and BOE jointly developed the screen, thanks to the new generation of FDC under-screen camera technology, SIP ultra-narrow bezel technology and super COP packaging technology. The screen has achieved an extremely narrow black bezel of 1.25mm and a screen-to-body ratio of 95.3%.
