OnePlus Is Ready To Release The Next Flagship Earbuds Soon

OnePlus has officially announced the upcoming release of its Buds Pro 3 earbuds, scheduled to launch in China on January 4. These earbuds are expected to deliver “flagship sound quality” and will be available in blue and gray color options, matching the OnePlus Ace 3’s color scheme.

The launch details were revealed in a Weibo post and further supported by leaks from Evan Blass on X, which included a photo of the box contents and a video demonstrating the earbuds’ touch controls.

Users can anticipate standard items in the box, such as the charging case, earbuds, different sizes of ear tips, a charging cable, and an informational booklet. The video leak also highlighted touch gestures for media sound control and phone calls.

There’s been speculation that the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will maintain the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature similar to the Buds Pro 2. Despite a possible reduction in battery size, the earbuds are rumored to offer up to nine hours of usage, with the case providing an additional 33 hours (without ANC). Other rumored features include Bluetooth 5.3, Google Fast Pair, and dual connection support.

Design-wise, leaked renders suggest a design consistent with OnePlus’s previous models. While the global release date for the Buds Pro 3 remains uncertain, OnePlus has confirmed the global launch of the OnePlus 12 and 12R for January 23, 2024.

These devices will be available in North America, and Europe, and for the first time, the R series will extend beyond India. The OnePlus 12R is expected to come in Cool Blue and Iron Gray, mirroring the Ace 3’s design.

As OnePlus gears up for these launches, there’s anticipation that the Buds Pro 3 will also be available globally in the near future.
