OnePlus 16 debuts the new generation high-performance Glacier Battery: 9000mAh + 100W wired/50W wireless flash charging

Fast Technology reported that OnePlus China President Li Jie announced that the OnePlus 16 will be the first phone to feature a new generation of high-performance Glacier Battery with a capacity of 9000mAh. The phone will be officially released on October 12th.

For daily use, one charge is all you need. Even when playing games with friends for a long time, the battery is still sufficient. When you go out temporarily, you don’t need to carry a power bank with you. At the same time, the battery is healthy and durable for 5 years, so it lasts a long time.

It also supports 100W wired flash charging and 50W wireless flash charging, allowing you to quickly recharge your device anytime, anywhere.

In terms of performance, the OnePlus 16 is among the first to be equipped with the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra chip, which uses TSMC’s 2nm process and achieves an AnTuTu score of over 5.63 million.

OnePlus has collaborated deeply with Qualcomm to directly write the new generation of the Wind Rider gaming kernel into the chip’s underlying layer. By integrating chip-level game optimization technology into the SoC, it supports native 185 frames per second continuous output, and mainstream high frame rate games such as PUBG Mobile can run stably at 185 frames per second for a long time.

With the new self-developed e-sports tri-core chip, it comprehensively improves game frame rate, touch response and network stability.

The screen is a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED flat screen customized by BOE, with Light Pro packaging technology, the bezel is reduced to less than 1 mm, and it has an industry-exclusive hardware-level global 165Hz refresh rate, which can be increased to 185Hz in gaming scenarios.

The camera features a 200-megapixel main sensor, paired with a 50-megapixel 3.5x periscope telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

In terms of positioning, it is the first to be equipped with a three-frequency GPS plus a four-frequency Beidou satellite positioning system, providing more stable positioning in urban canyons, under overpasses and complex road environments, reducing yaw and positioning drift.

The body is available in three color schemes: Tomorrow’s Starlight, Martian Masterpiece, and Dark Forest, corresponding to glass with a breathing light, new process glass fiber, and silk glass materials, respectively.
