Oppo A6x 4G and 5G Launch with 120Hz Displays and 6,500mAh Batteries

Oppo has expanded its A6 series with a new model called the Oppo A6x. There are two versions of this phone: 4G and 5G. The main difference between them is the processor. The 4G variant (CPH2819) come with a Snapdragon 685 processor while the 5G variant (CPH2823) uses the Dimensity 6300 processor.

The rest of the specifications are identical for both versions of the Oppo A6x. Both devices run ColorOS 15 and feature a large 6.75 inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach a peak brightness of 1,125 nits in HBM mode and support GloveTouch which is useful in cold weather. The camera setup includes a 13MP primary camera at the back and a 5MP front camera for selfies. Both versions have a 6,500 mAh battery and support 5W reverse wired charging.

The Oppo A6x 5G model supports 45W fast charging whereas the 4G model does support any fast charging feature. Additionally, Oppo has confirmed that the A6x 4G features a monochrome camera on the rear, but it has not revealed details about the secondary rear camera on the 5G model. Apart from these differences, both the 4G and 5G models have a number of common features. These include a fingerprint scanner mounted on the side, a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.

The Oppo A6x 4G is available in two attractive colors: Ice Blue and Plum Purple. It also offers three memory options to suit different needs: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 256GB storage. The base model can be purchased directly from Oppo’s official website in Malaysia at a price of RM399.

The Oppo A6x 5G is available in two colors: Ice Blue and Olive Green. Buyers in India can get the device from Oppo’s official website, online marketplaces like Amazon.in and Flipkart, as well as from authorized retail stores.

The phone comes in three memory variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. These models are priced at INR 12,499, INR 13,499 and INR 14,999 respectively.
