OPPO Find X8 preview: 1.5K straight screen with 50MP triple-camera

 today the well-known digital blogger Digital Chat Station revealed relevant information about OPPO Find X8.

According to reports, OPPO Find X8 will be equipped with MediaTek’s new generation flagship chip Dimensity 9400 , which is based on TSMC’s 3nm process and will be the first to launch the Cortex-X925 super core. It is MediaTek’s most powerful chip this year.

It is reported that the newly launched Cortex-X925 core achieved a 36% increase in Geekbench’s single-core performance test compared to the previous generation Cortex-X4, and its 3MB dedicated L2 cache increased the performance output of AI tasks by 41%.

In terms of GPU, the Dimensity 9400 chip will be equipped with the new Immortalis G925 graphics processing unit, which brings a 37% performance improvement in graphics processing efficiency compared to the previous generation G720 GPU.

In addition, the blogger also revealed that the current OPPO Find X8 engineering machine uses a 6.5-inch LTPO screen with a 1.5K resolution. The single-screen form is still questionable at this stage. It may use a straight screen, or it may be replaced with an equal-depth micro-curved screen.

In terms of imaging, OPPO Find X8 is expected to inherit the 50-megapixel large-bottom triple-camera solution of the previous generation X7, the periscope telephoto lens and the 3x mid-bottom sensor, which is expected to still be the mainstream OmniVision OV64B CMOS.
